We are proud to present Million Pixel Mosaic – a web service that aims to bring unity to Internet through images. Million Pixel Mosaic’s vision is to find some order and unity in this wildly disorganized mess that we call the Internet. Yes, we are all connected by pixels now at Million Pixel Mosaic.
A mosaic is an image that is made of several smaller images. With Million Pixel Mosaic, you get a mosaic that is made up of a million pixels that are contributed by Internet users, in essence it is a socially driven web service to create a mosaic. The website offers two mosaic options: an one million pixels comprised of 10,000 images, while the other is comprised of 2,500 images. Million Pixel Mosaic is a social network where the backdrop image is determined by the effective votes received on the submitted images. Clicking on any image tile brings up your caption/URL info, as well as the ability to view the submitted image in full-size. Million Pixel Mosaic allows text linking into the images – which can help to be a promotion to your website as well, all for a nominal fee. Creating a mosaic socially is the innovation at Million Pixel Mosaic.
We would like to thank Mr. Gregory, our client for choosing us for developing his idea to reality. He was involved with every step of the development, with his active feedback, revisions, brainstorming and finally getting the great web service live! We wholeheartedly wish him good luck with Million Pixel Mosaic, get started to add your image to Million Pixel Mosaic at http://millionpixelmosaic.com/

Great Innovus Solutions is pleased to announce that we have got approval of our 200th iOS (iPhone, iPad, Universal applications) application submitted for Apple’s iTunes AppStore on behalf of our various clients. We have been working with Apple iPhone/iPad/iOS development platform since its launch in March 2008. We achieved a milestone of submitting 11 apps and all approved for iPad Grand opening in June 2010 (details here).
Great Innovus Solutions have been successful in developing iOS applications that utilize various technologies like: GPS based location, Touch and multitouch interactive applications, Internetworked applications, Open GL based animated applications, interactive ebooks, interactive games (puzzles, board games, bowling games), Accelerator and Gyrometer utilizing applications, camera and photo album applications, general utilities, multitasking applications with background, PUSH notifications, in-app purchases, audio/video recording, video playback, video streaming, social networks, REST, XML and web based applications.
Our experience with Apple has always been pleasant with shortest approval happening in 3 days and longest in 18 days. Nearly 99% of times application we submit gets approved in first review itself, only very rarely our submissions has been rejected (this is large compared to the industry average rejections rate). We have maintained a high acceptance rate with our in-house quality assurance by iterative testing, system testing and continuous review with our clients with nightly builds wherever possible. 8 applications developed by us has been featured in Apple AppStore in various categories, notable mentions are: Cascarone (details here) and Secondtake (details here), other applications are under an agreement of non-disclosure with our clients. Year 2010 alone had highest submissions of nearly 128 applications. Great Innovus would like to thank all our clients that supported and chose to work with us in this opportunity. Last but not the least we would like to appreciate our engineering team that had put tireless efforts in achieving this milestone.

Cascarones, hollowed out egg shells filled with confetti, are very popular during Fiesta and Easter in some parts of the world. It is said that you get good luck if a cascarone is cracked on your head. Our client had an idea to bring this real life fun to the digital world as an iPhone/iPad app.
The idea of the Cascarone app is for people to decorate a virtual Easter Egg on their iPhone or iPad with colors, stripes, and designs. The user can then shake his phone and the egg will crack along with mariachi music playing. This is perfect for any Fiesta party where either you run out of real cascarones or you are at a place where you can’t make a mess! You can also load a friend’s picture into the app and the egg will crack on them!
Cascarone app was built for Fiesta San Antonio (http://www.fiesta-sa.org/) that draws 3.5 million people each year to the event. Thanks to our client Mr. Garrett for considering us to create the app and thanks to the developers at Great Innovus Solutions who have put immense efforts in developing the app on time. Additionally, thanks to Apple for considering the expedited review request and getting the application approved at the beginning of Fiesta.
Finally, we are happy to share that Apple has featured the Cascarone app as a New and Noteworthy app for both the iPhone and iPad in the Family and Kids game sections.

We are really excited and pleased to announce that our iPhone/iPad universal application ‘Second Take‘ for our client Mr. Garrett got featured on Apple App Store under the New and Newsworthy applications. The application is available for download at http://itunes.apple.com/in/app/second-take/id395854075?mt=8
Thanks to our client Garrett for considering us and providing us an opportunity to work with him. Also thanks to our developers in getting this possible with their best efforts. Kudos to all!
We are proud to announce that Apple Inc, has approved 11 applications for iPad developed by Great Innovus Solutions for the “Apple iPad Grand Opening” on April 3, 2010. Apple had approved only 2,546 apps for the Day 1 sales (source: Fortune CNN) and our contributed/developed apps account to 0.43% of all approved iPads apps for Grand Opening. Also this makes us the iPad developer that got all apps submitted approved for the grand opening that translates to 100% approval ratio. We are very happy to have Apple approve all our apps and having a grand opening for iPad. Most of these apps were started after March 9, 2010 after Apple begun accepting iPads apps for inclusion for grand opening. Our iPhone/iPad development team did a very great job in creating, testing and submitting all these 11 apps, taking part in the review process with multiple builds submission for about 23 days working on weekends too – kudos to our team! Special mention goes to Dileep, Rama Sundaram, Raja for staying late and taking great responsibilities.
A few apps that we are allowed to mention of the 11 approved apps are:
PicPuzzler exclusive for iPad: our in-house iPad, which is a jigsaw puzzle game packed with 155+ photos and ability to load and use album photos as puzzles. Available for sale at Apple App Store for ¢99
Spring Puzzle Book HD: for client Still Motion Media LLC, a ebook for kids and is a popular app in education category for iPad. It also features puzzles and audio in multiple languages together with high resolutions illustrations exclusive for iPad. Available for sale at Apple App Store for ¢99
The other 9 apps are exciting ones but we unable to list them here do to active Non Disclosure Agreements with our clients. 6 of the rest apps belong to one client and they are interactive ebooks, others are: a work out app, a game and an ebook.
Great Innovus Solutions have been a leading iPhone developer since day 1 of the original Apple iPhone SDK tools announcement in March 6, 2008. And now we pride for being an iPad developer starting Day 1 too. We have developed 68 apps for our clients and assisted in over 34 other iPhone apps as support/modules development roles till date. This April 2010 our team are working on 19 other iPhone/iPad applications which are mostly close to completion and ready for submissions. We have expert UI/UX engineers that can produce intuitive interfaces optimized for mobile form factors.

Great Innovus Solutions private limited was founded in November 11, 2006 with a mission to provide quality and affordable services in Web, Mobile and Social network platforms. But since day 1, we were busy with client works that today we stand as a service provider with a clientele of 500+ clients and having worked on 800+ solutions for our clients. Being busy all time had only put us into less time to spend on our own website to showcase our talent.
Most of our clients ask us: “A web services provider with no site?“, we just reply them: “Yes, we were so busy that we did not find time for it and after all no one will pay for it!“, they reply “You are hired!” and business proceed as usual. But we thought to spare some our time to craft our own web site to showcase all our great work and team capabilities, this is needed to support our future prospects. But frankly we were forced to put a site by our investors
We have exhibited some great talent for our own site too and it took nearly 4 working days to get the system ready for an initial demo, where we spent time optimizing and validating the site for standards compliance. Yes, the site is XHTML valid and CSS valid. The site uses the following technologies PHP, MySQL, XHTML, CSS, AJAX, CSS Sprites and many visual effects in Javascript using JQuery. We are slowly adding content to the site and also fixing, so if you find any thing broken, feel free to let us know!
We intend to use this blog as our corporate notebook to share news, thoughts, announcements and things that are interesting in tech! I hope you will enjoy your stay with us!
